My passion in photography derives not only in capturing a beautiful photograph, but in being able to build a series and convey a story. In this page you will find some of my photographic series in all stages : beginning, in progress, and, finished.

PLACES & LANDSCAPE
"Intersectionalities"
No one is one sole identity. Our identities play off each other; sister, women, daughter, etc. We are a mix of our identities and experiencees with constant movement.
"Broken Bridges and Dry Rivers"
The L.A. River, which was once the main water source for natives in surrounding areas, has over the time been neglected and overlooked. The bridges that house this now dry river have become the homes to many people who ironically connot afford the luxury of clean water. Traditional meanings of bridges and rivers do not apply to L.A. and the urban communities next to it are easily ignored.
"Dia De Los Muertos"
A modern homage to the Mexican holiday Dia De Los Muertos.
"Muchos Somos"
We are our ancestors, family and heritage. Our connection to our homeland is deep rooted and strong. Although we might not be near each other always, we all share our roots.
"-Hyphenate"
"In this country American means white. Everybody else has to hyphenate." - Toni Morrison. Although we may come from different backgrounds, we are too often forced into a simplified definition.
